The Northern Lights

“The Northern Lights” is the first in a series of stories I wrote for the Edmonton Public Library’s Capital City Press anthology (vol. 2).

It imagines a strange cafe in the Highlands neighbourhood, where time does not run at its normal pace, and where eccentric people from across the city gather together to form a strange little community.
